It’s ALIVE!!!

So, this concept might be a bit controversial to some, but the TARDIS is an actual living entity. It’s general appearance from the external could be confusing at best. Meant to be an inconspicuous disguise, the Blue London Police Call box is a common site in London. So, to be disguised as such means for easy blending into the London scenery. Upon entering though, you’ll be thrown into a surreal feeling as though the space seen can‘t be possible in the seemingly small space provided from the external view. Look at the way that the TARDIS behaves. A temperamental, old piece of machinery that needs a good bash or a good yell to get it to work properly and even then the poor Doctor often ends up in areas that they were never meant to be, like in the side of a brick wall for instance. Let’s take a look at the instance of the TARDIS physically manifesting itself into human form, as stated in a previous post. In the episode aptly titled The Doctor’s Wife, essentially the life force of the TARDIS, it’s matrix, disappears and is then put into the body of a woman. This transformation into human form then allows the Doctor and the TARDIS to finally be able to communicate, important in every relationship. #relationSHIPgoals
